This project was conceived as a House for Tarkovsky, for the Romanian Order of Architecture sponsored by ICARC in an online competition. It did not win.

The illustrations were reworked and submitted to the “longest running, most prestigious delineation competition in the world”, the Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition, or KROB. From a jury headed by Hani Rashid and Ginny Herzog, the piece was awarded the Beck Prize for excellence in Digital and Hybrid Media.

Seen by the representative for Graphisoft’s Archicad at the competition, the piece was sent to Budapest and selected as the standard bearer in all packaging, marketing materials and window prompts for ArchiCAD 9. The package shipped in 2004.
